Tennis: Simona Halep falls to 3rd WTA position, Marius Copil climbs on the 79th ATP position
Romanian tennis player Simona Halep has lost a position in the WTA rankings, down to the 3rd, with 5,682 points.
On the first position is Naomi Osaka (Japan) with 6,151 points, followed by Petra Kvitova with 6,015 points.
Mihaela Buzarnescu has climbed one position to the 29th with 1,650 points, Sorana Cirstea is up from the 97th to the 93rd with 659 points, whereas Irina Begu is down 13 positions to the 96th with 639 points. Monica Niculescu is up two positions, from 130th to 128th.
In the men’s rankings, Romanian tennis player Marius Copil has climbed one position against last week to the 79th in the ATP rankings. First in the ATP rankings if Novak Djokovici (Serbia), followed by Rafael Nadal (Spain) and Alexander Zverev (Germany).
