Tennis: Simona Halep to have one-month break

Romanian tennis player, Simona Helep, 1st WTA, has been eliminated from the Miami Open, defeated in the singles by Agnieska Radwanska and in the doubles, with Irina Begu, by Raquel Atawo (US)/Anna-Lena Groenefeld (Germany) 6-7 (3), 6-2, 10-8 on Sunday.

Halep has decided to have a one-month break and to return on the court at the Fed Cup match against Switzerland.

“I say bye-bye to Miami with this beautiful drop shot. See you all on the Clay court! Next station: Cluj. Fed Cup,” Simona wrote on her Facebook page.

The Fed Cup match between Romania and Switzerland is scheduled during April 21-22, in Cluj-Napoca.

After this event, Simona Halep will play at the Stuttgart tournament starting on April 23.
