Tennis: Tecau and Rojer win the doubles event in Dubai

The pair Horia Tecau/Jean-Julien Rojer won the doubles event in Dubai after defeating 4-6, 6-3, 10-3 Rohan Bopanna (India)/Marcin Matkowski (Poland) in the final on Saturday.

Tecau and Rojer, 4th seeded, won the match in one hour and 19 minutes, in their first final match this year and obtained their 13th ATP title together.

On Wednesday in the quarterfinals, Romanian Florin Mergea and Serbian Viktor Troicki were defeated by Rohan Bopanna/Marcin Matkowski 6-3, 6-4.

Tecau and Rojer secured a cheque for USD 157,570 and 500 ATP points.
