Tennis: Tecau/Rojer pair wins Dubai Open doubles title
The Romanian-Dutch pair Horia Tecau/Jean-Julien Rojer has won on Saturday the title in the doubles event of the ATP tournament in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), with total prizes of USD 2,623,485 after defeating the pair Jamie Cerretani (US)/Leander Paes (India) 6-2, 7-6 (2).
Tecau and Rojer, 2nd seeded, have won the second consecutive title in Dubai in an hour and 27 minutes.
The Romanian-Dutch pair had very good percentages on service, 75% points won with the first service and 76% with the second.
The winners will collect a cheque of USD 170,270 and 500 ATP points.
For Horia Tecau it was the 52nd doubles final of the career and the first in 2018.
Horia Tecau has won 34 titles in the doubles and has lost 18 finals. He won 17 titles playing in pair with Rojer.
