Romania’s national football team defeated Lithuania 3-0 (1-0) on Saturday night in Nations League’ 4th Group, C series, on the Ilie Oana Stadium from Ploiesti, with closed gates.
Romania, which retains the theoretical chances of winning the group, won by the goals scored by George Puşcaş (7th min.), Claudiu Keşeru (47th) and Nicolae Stanciu (65th).
Romania has climbed to second position in the group after this success and will play a decisive match for this position on Tuesday in Podgorica against Montenegro.
Lithuania, which will play against Serbia in Belgrade on Tuesday, has relegated to League D.
