Volleyball: Stiinta Bacau wins Romanian Cup as Dinamo withdraws from the field

CS ?tiin?a Bac?u won the women’s volleyball Romanian Cup on Tuesday at Cheile Gr?di?tei, after Dinamo Bucharest Romprest retired from the game at the end of set five in protest against refereeing.

When Dinamo decided to withdraw from the field, Stiinta was leading 12-9 in the deciding set, after 25-15, 24-26, 19-25, 28-26 in the first sets. Stiinta had saved three match balls in set four. Dinamo challenged one of the last balls won by Stiinta Bacau. For Dinamo this is the third consecutive final lost against Stiinta Bacau.
