Women’s handball, Champions League: CSM Bucharest qualifies to the Final Four round although defeated by Metz 27-20

CSM Bucharest women’s handball team has qualified to the Final Four tournament in Budapest after a defeat at Metz 27-20, due to the victory in the first round, in Bucharest, 34-21.

It was a match in which coach Per Johansson’s girls did not make a good game and allowed their opponents to dominate from the start.

Cristina Neagu (photo) has reached the threshold of 100 goals scored in Champions League.

Eventually, CSM Bucharest has qualified in the Final Four.

In the Final Four tournament the Romanian champions are joined by Gyor, Rostov on Don and Vardar Skopje.

The draw of the semi-finals will take place on April 17 in Budapest.
