Women’s handball, Champions League: CSM Bucharest through to quarter-finals
The CSM Bucharest handball women’s team has qualified to Champions League quarter-finals on Friday, after defeating RK Krim Mercador Ljubljana 28-26 (14-12) in Bucharest, in the last but one match of main group 2.
Contrary to expectations, the match was difficult, as CSM had defeated the Slovenian team 24-21 away.

Standings: on the top place is Gyori Audi ETO KC – 13 points, followed by larvik – 10 points, CSM Bucharest – 9 points, FC Midtjyland – 8 points, RK Krim Mercador – 6 ppoints, Team Esberg – 4 points.
