Women’s handball: CSM Bucharest, surprisingly defeated by Rostov-on-Don

CSM Bucharest, women’s handball champions, has been surprisingly defeated on Saturday by Rostov-on-Don 25-24 (9-12) in the main group I of the Champions League.
Following this defeat, the Romanian team will qualify to the quarter-finals from the third position in the group and will face the team on the second position in main group II, i.e. Ferencvaros (Hungary) or Metz (France).
