World Championship, women’s handball: Romania, defeated by Spain 26-18

Romania’s women national team was defeated by the representative of Spain 26-18 (13-12) on Tuesday in Frederikshavn in a Group D match of the handball World Championship in Denmark.
Our team had a very good start of the match and remained at the helm for 25 minutes, but then gave up completely and lost the game.
The evolution of our team was below expectations after the break, Romania’s first goal came after 38 minutes to make 16-13. There were altogether 14 minutes without scoring.
The maximum difference was of eight goals at the end of the match, 26-18.
Romania is to play the toughest matches in Group D on Thursday against Norway (21.30h) and on Friday against Russia (19.15h).
