World Championship, women’s handball: Second defeat in a row for Romania
Romania women’s handball national team was defeated on Thursday evening by Norway 26-22 (13-10) in the last but one match in Group D of the World Championship in Denmark.
In the first three matches Romania defeated Puerto Rico 47-17 and Kazakhstan 36-20, but lost to Spain 18-26, being already qualified for the last sixteen stage.
Russia lead the standings with 8 point, followed by Span and Norway – 6 points, Romania – 4, Kazakhstan and Puerto Rico – 0.
In the last match in Group D, Romania will face Russia on Friday, 19.15h.
