Romanian tennis player Simona Halep, currently ranked world No. 3, is also the most popular female tennis player in 2014, advancing No. 1 U.S. Serena Williams and No.2 Russian Maria Sarapova, wtatennis.com informs.

Canadian Eugenie Bouchars is the 4^th most popular female tennis player and Polish Agnieszka Radwanska ranks 5^th in the popularity chart.

Ana Ivanovici, Serbia, Caroline Wozniacki, Denmark, Petra Kvitova, The Czech Republic and Victoria Azarenka, Belarus, are ranking the 7-10^th positions.
