Spotify, one of the most popular music streaming online services in the world, has officially been launched on the Romanian market on Monday, offering a better musical experience and personalized playlists, according to individual preferences, adevarul.ro informs.
By entering the local market, Spotify has thus reached the number of 65 markets worldwide. Since the launching in 2008, Spotify has earned EUR 8 billion for the music industry and has about 160 million members.
The users can access the tunes for free or by using Spotify Premium for EUR 4.99 per month, (about RON 23), an option which avoids advertising. It includes domestic and international music of up to 35 million tunes.
The service is available on smartphones, desktop, tablets and other devices or audio systems.
Spotify was launched in Sweden nine years ago.
