The pair made up by Romanian tennis player Horia Tecau and Dutch tennis player Jean-Julien Rojer lost on Sunday the final of the Paris Masters tournament with prizes of EUR 4.87 million.
Tecău and Rojer were defeated in the final by Marcel Granollers/Rajeev Ram (Spain/US) 6-4, 6-4 in 71 minutes.
The prize award for participation in the final is EUR 141,820 and 600 points each. The winners will receive total prize money of nearly EUR 300,000 and 1,000 ATP points.
In the semi-final, Horia Tecau and Jean-Julien Rojer defeated Mike Bryan / Jack Sock (USA), the 2-series leader, with a score of 6-1, 7-5, in one hour of play.
For Horia Tecau it was the 54th final in the doubles in his career and the third in 2018, after the titles won at Dubai and Winston-Salem.
