As of this summer, Milan Malpensa-based Ernest Airlines will operate flights that will link north of Italy to Iasi and Bucharest, as it was announced at the BIT Milano 2018 International Tourism Exchange.
Just established in 2017, Ernest Airlines is currently only present in three countries: Italy, Albania and Ukraine.
Thus, starting with June 21, the Italian air low-cost air carrier is serving flights from Cuneo to Iasi (twice a week), Genoa -Bucharest (twice a week), Verona – Bucharest (three times a week) and Verona – Iasi (three times a week).
It is noted that the newest Italian airline plans to release the flight schedule and start ticket sales in the near future.
Ernest Airlines, which was previously a virtual airline, owns a fleet of Airbus A319 and A320. Two more Airbus A320 aircraft will join the fleet this year.
The airline has a mixture of Italian and Swedish investors.
