The Swan Lake Ballet on Ice show performed by the Russian Ballet on Ice ensemble in St. Petersburg is returning to Romania next year. The Russian skaters will tread the board again at Sala Palatului on a beautiful winter day, on January 14, 2019, starting 8 p.m., the organizers from German Quality Entertainment announced. Access is available as of 7 p.m.
Already famous to the Romanian audience, the members of the St. Petersburg Ballet on Ice Ensemble will bring to life again one of the most famous love story, accompanied by one of the most loved classic music signed by Tchaikovsky.
The four-act libretto of the ballet has been written by Vladimir Berghicev and V. Ghelzer, inspired by an old Russian-German legend.
Tickets are available for the following categories of prices: Princess (RON 349), Prince (RON 249), White Swan (RON 149) and Black Swan (RON 99).
The Swan Lake premiered at Balshoi Theatre in Moscow on March 4, 1877.
The company “Saint-Petersburg Classical Ballet of Andrey Batalov” was founded by Batalov in 2014.
The company’s repertoire combines masterpieces of classical ballet: “Swan Lake”, “Giselle”, “Don Quixote”, “The Nutcracker,” “Les Sylphides”, and contemporary choreography – Alexei Miroshnichenko, Emil Faski and others. The guest soloists will include St. Petersburg ballet stars like Oksana Bondareva, Yevgeny Ivanchenko, Leonid Sarafanov.
