The Head of the Human Resources Office with the Bureau of Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising in Bucharest, Iulian Bocse, has been arrested for 30 days. The prosecutors from the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) accuse him of having requested a EUR 15,000 bribe, out of which he received EUR 5,000 for helping a person to promote a competition organized in September 2014, and also of abuse of office.
In the same case are also being prosecuted, while in freedom, Dan Constantin Cuzuc for bribery and abetment to abuse of office, and Simona Elena Toader, for complicity in bribery and in abetment to abuse of office, reads a DNA press release quoted by Mediafax.
According to the order of detention, Iulian Bocse requested the sum of EUR 15,000 from Dan Constantin Cuzuc, in exchange of favoring Simona Toader in a contest of promotion held in September 2014. Out of this amount, Iulian Bocse received from Cuzuc EUR 5,000.
