The National Statistics Institute (INS) has positively revised the economic growth registered last year, by 0.2 percentage points, from 2.8% to 3% and the estimated value of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) thus increased by RON 940 million to RON 667, 57 billion in current prices, according to the semi-final data.
In the previous release, published in April, INS had revised downwards by 0.1 points the growth in 2014 from 2.9% to 2.8% and the GDP stood at RON 666.63 billion in current prices, by 0.43% less than the data announced in early March.
In 2013, the economy recorded an increase of 3.5%.
