Bucharest Stock Exchange registers growth in the first day of transactions this year

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) registered growth on Thursday with the volume reaching RON 32.514 million (EUR 6.969 million), of which RON 30.475 million (EUR 6.532 million) transactions with shares.

The reference BET Index, reflecting the performance of the most traded 15 companies, has appreciated by 1.18%, up to 7,471.10 points, whereas BET-Plus Index, reflecting the performance of the most traded 37 companies, has registered growth of 1.13% and BET-NG, the index on the performance of the largest 10 energy and utilities companies, registered growth of 0.75%.

BET-FI (on SIFs) depreciated by 0.19%, BET-XT on extended blue-chip for most traded 25 shares appreciated by 0.93% and BET-BK, in the yield of investment funds, increased by 0.94%.

On the Regulated Market, the Banca Transilvania shares were most traded – RON 13.224 million, followed by Proprietatea Fund – RON 3.621 million and Electrica – RON 3.476 million.

Best developments were registered by the shares of TML Artrom – up by 9.33%, Purcari Wineries Public Company (+7.53%) and Patria Bank (7.26%).

Most important depreciations were registered by the shares of Oltchim – minus 14.67%, Conted (-2.7%) and Transelectrica (-2.33%).
