National Bank of Romania (BNR) announced on Tuesday a reference rate of RON 4.4821/euro, RON 4.1396/Swiss franc and RON 4.1317/US dollar.
Euro rises to RON 4.48 compared to RON 4.47 on Monday, the European currency reaching a new high of the last five months and exceeded for the first time the RON 4.47 threshold during this period.
The single currency has never reached such a high value against RON’s share of July 8, 2015 when the central bank announced a reference rate of RON 4.4850 /euro.
The US dollar remains at RON 4.13, close to the exchange rate announced by BNR on yesterday – 4.1392.
Also, the Swiss national currency remains at RON 4.13 value, recording a slightly increase to RON 4.1396/ CHF from RON 4.1308/CHF.
