Net investments in the national economy amounted to RON 21.055 billion in Q3 2018, down by 1.5% as compared to the similar period in 2017, given the drop in new construction works by 14.3%, the National Statistics Institute (INS) informs on Monday.
In the first three quarters of 2018, the net investments made in the national economy amounted to RON 54.596 billion, higher by 2.7%, against January 1 – September 30, 2017.
In Q3 2018, compared to the same quarter of 2017, the net investments in the national economy have decreased by 1.5%, due to the drop by 14.3% in new construction works and in other expenses by 7.6%. Growth was recorded for the machinery structure (including means of transport) by 15.4%, INS also informs.
The net investments in the national economy increased by 2.7% during January 1 – September 30, 2018 as compared to the similar period in 2017, with the following structural elements on the rise: other expenditures – up by 31.3% and machinery (including means of transport) – up by 8.8%.
The investments in new construction works fell by 8.2%.
The branches with higher investments volume in the first three quarters of 2018 are: trade/services – by 26% compared by 24% in the same period last year, agriculture – by 6.2% against 5.4% in the same period in 2017, other branches – by 10.3% against 6.8% in the similar period of 2017.
