The Aerotravel Group announces the conclusion of its strategic partnership with Ávoris, the largest tourism company in the Iberian Peninsula, to expand and consolidate its portfolio of exotic holidays, for which it anticipates an increase in demand of approximately 25% in 2025 compared to the previous year.

Thanks to this collaboration, AeroVacanțe, the organizing agency of the Aerotravel Group, offers partner agencies and tourists from Romania stays in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Mexico, operated throughout the year, to which new destinations such as Costa Rica, Mauritius, Cape Verde or the Canary and Balearic Islands will be added in the immediate future.

The Caribbean vacation packages, which include connecting flights from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Iași, and Budapest, charter flights from Madrid, transfers, All-Inclusive accommodation, and medical insurance for the destination, are distributed through a business-to-business IT system, through which any travel agency in Romania can purchase stays to offer to their direct clients. Both the partner travel agencies and their clients will benefit from perfect booking conditions, advantageous rates, quality services, and, last but not least, a perfect vacation experience.

“Compared to the years before the pandemic, Romanians’ interest in exotic destinations has increased greatly because now people appreciate freedom of movement more and want to fulfill their desire to discover as many exceptional destinations as possible.

The partnership with Ávoris, one of the most important organizing agencies globally, is excellent news. Thanks to this collaboration, Romanian tourists will be able to enjoy, in addition to the much-appreciated destinations of Punta Cana, Cancun, Riviera Maya, Havana, and Varadero, also dream destinations on three continents: Costa Rica, Mauritius, Cape Verde, or the Canary and Balearic Islands. In addition, the partner travel agencies will be able to offer competitive packages, which include all the services necessary for a successful vacation, with departures throughout the year from the main cities in Romania and which respond to a very varied range of preferences, expectations and budgets”, declared Antonio Nițu, General Manager of Aerotravel.

Eduard Bogatyr, General Manager International Expansion Ávoris, responsible for market development in Romania, explains why the company he represents offers memorable vacations for tourists and development opportunities for partner travel agencies: “In this period of constant change, in which the tourism market is undergoing an unprecedented transformation due to the new expectations and needs of tourists, we are more than just an organizing agency or a vacation package distribution system. We are a trusted partner in any trip undertaken by customers, we deliver personalized, innovative, and accessible solutions, guided by their values and concerns. We reinvent travel and our way of working, to offer customers exactly the experiences they want.”

More and more Romanians want a vacation in an exotic destination, and Aerotravel Group tourists are joining this trend, with approximately 10% of them going on a holiday to the Dominican Republic, Cuba, or Mexico once a year. Although the percentage of those who want an exotic destination in the first part of the year is increasing, these are also requested outside the peak season, in June – September, due to the very good offers and the pleasant weather. In addition, Caribbean destinations are very sought after by newlyweds who spend their honeymoon here, appreciating the superb natural setting and the excellent facilities in the hotel complexes.

In 2024, the most sought-after exotic destinations were the Dominican Republic, Maldives, Mauritius, Thailand, and Zanzibar, at rates from 1,000 euros/person, and one of the most expensive exotic stays was in Mauritius, which cost 24,000 euros and included 11 nights accommodation in a villa with a private pool, Ultra All Inclusive services and all flights from Romania. However, the most interesting stay sold by Aerotravel in 2024 was worth 50,000 euros and included 24 nights in Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong and Melbourne in 5* hotels, as well as all flights.

How much does an exotic vacation cost in 2025?

A vacation in Punta Cana, with All-inclusive meals, at a 5-star hotel, starts at 1,260 euros/person and includes a flight from Bucharest, transfers, tourist assistance, and medical insurance valid in the destination. A 7-night stay in Mexico with All Inclusive meals at a 5-star hotel has rates from 1,520 euros/person, and one in Cuba from 1,425 euros/person, both including all the services mentioned above (flights, transfers, insurance, tourist assistance).

The hotel complexes in the AeroVacanțe portfolio offer varied activities and very high-quality tourist services, which transform each tourist stay into a pleasant, unforgettable experience.

Reservations can be made through travel agencies partnering with AeroVacanțe, but also on the website www.fabricadevacante.ro, from which tourists can easily choose their vacation during the desired period. In addition, AeroVacanțe consultants know the destination and hotel infrastructure very well and provide relevant information to all reseller travel agencies, so that their tourists can benefit from stays according to expectations.

The Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Mexico are destinations that offer a complete holiday experience, from relaxation to adventure and culture. In the Dominican Republic, white beaches and turquoise waters are the perfect setting for a 5-star All Inclusive holiday, where tourists will be pampered by the impeccable service of the hotels, but also by the vibrant rhythms of bachata and merengue. In Cuba, they will discover a unique world: they will take trips back in time in Havana, to admire the facades of colonial buildings and the bizarre shapes of retro cars, and then relax in Varadero, famous for its long and quiet beaches. Mexico brings a fascinating mix of fun and history: Cancun and the Riviera Maya are recognized for their intense nightlife, while the Mayan ruins of Tulum or Chichen Itza are an invitation to explore one of the most fascinating cultures.

Ávoris is the leading tourism group in the Iberian Peninsula specialized in the marketing of holidays and is part of the Barceló group. With a team of over 6,000 professionals in the field, Avoris has over 2,600 own agencies and over 30 brands operating in five areas: retail, trade, air transport, incoming services and tourist activities.
