Flying to the Romanian seaside: Charters from Iasi, Cluj, Timisoara and Oradea to the Black Sea shore

Charter packages for the Romanian seaside are available for the first time in Romania through Concediu.com. Tourists can purchase charter offers for the Romanian seaside on Concediu.com as of July. The departures are from Iasi, Cluj-Napoca, Oradea and Timisoara, with an average stay of six nights, seven days. The average price is EUR 300/person for mid-summer season (July 15-August 15).

According to Millennium Tour, the developer of Concediu.com booking portal, there will be two departures per week from Cluj and Timisoara and only one weekly departure from Iasi and Oradea. The flights are operated by Blue Air and take about one hour. The packages are a first for Romania. “Three in ten users of our website are searching vacations in Romania, and among these, 30 per cent are searching packages including the transport by plane,” said Madalin Mancila, Millennium Tour general manager.

The vacation packages on the Romanian seaside by plane start from EUR 400 per two persons for the departures from Iasi, EUR 450 for departures from Cluj Napoca, Oradea and Timisoara. The packages include the transport by plane, accommodation in a 3-star hotel with breakfast included. For the all-inclusive package, the average price is EUR 650 for a week.

Air travel tickets can be booked separately without accommodation, with prices starting from EUR 69 for departures from Iasi, and EUR 110 for the rest of the destinations.
