Prestige Tours launches charter flights to Jordan
Prestige Tours, part of the Turkish group Calypso Tour, exclusive tour operator for Turkey, with over 20,000 tourists booking vacation only to Antalya last year, will launch charter flights to Aqaba resort, Jordan starting March. There will be weekly flights to the Red Sea resort during March-June, 2018, with tariffs for a seven-night stay being available for the Romanian market as of next week. The flights will be operated by Royal Jordanian Airlines, and the accommodation will be in four and five-star hotels. The trips will also include the transfers from the airport to the hotels and back and visiting tours.
Prestige Tours estimates a number of 5,000 Romanian tourists will choose a stay in Aqaba in the first year.
„We are counting on Jordan for we have noticed the Romanian tourists’ interest for this destination has increased, as it is one of the richest travel destinations in terms of sights and one of the safest countries in the world. At the same time, Jordan is a good alternative for the tourists who want a beach holiday in the spring, in resorts with all inclusive services,” said Elena Anghel, managing director Prestige Tours.
In 2016, Prestige Tours has extended the number of flights outside Bucharest, launching a charter from Suceava to Antalya. There are also charters to Antalya from Cluj, Arad and a new one from Craiova to be launched this year.
Also in 2018, Prestige Tours is introducing a new businee transport line by coach to Marmaris and Didim resorts, with five weekly departures from Bucharest and Craiova. The average package costs EUR 70/per person, with catering on board included.
The drives by coach to the Turkish seaside will be operated from May to October 2018, being the ideal option for the tourists who are afraid of flying by plane.
Prestige Tours, a 28-year-old travel agency, has been taken over by Calypso Tour, one of the largest tour operators in Turkey, in March 2016.
