Zumbaala Wake Park is the first cable wake park in Romania and is located at a stone’s throw from the capital Bucharest, in Mogosoaia. In Brâncovenesc Park (Parcul Brancovenesc), Mogosoaia there is the first cable wake park in Romania called Zumbaala Wake Park, a lounge area opened every day for fun and adventure for wake-boarding loving tourists.

Wake-boarding is the newest in the water sports family, a sport practiced by hauling the boat, like in water skiing, very fashionable not only in the European countries but all over the globe. The completion of this wake park was made by the City of Mogosoaia, which has invested in a cutting-edge facility Germanic mark Sesitec System 2.0, the same as those used in cable wake-board world championships. The structure is an accessible cable system, which does not demand any learning difficulties and allows attaining the handling moves that make this sport so spectacular.

Thanks to the ease to use cable, Zumbaala Wake Park is the perfect location both for children and adults, for both beginners but also for those who have already tried this experience.

The complex includes also a lounge area on the beach from the pier. You can rent equipment for kayaking, canoeing and stand up paddle boards or they can be bought from the specialized shops in nautical equipment.

Zumbaala Wake Park is opened from Tuesday till Sunday between 10:00 am – 11:30 pm and on Mondays between 15:30 – 11:30 pm. Wake-boarding can be practiced daily from 10.00 am until sunset, and for a 10 minute ride, the price is RON 40 (Mon-Fri) / RON 50 (Saturday-Sunday).
