Turkish company to build part of Bucharest ring road Motorway

Alsim Alarko, an engineering and construction contracting unit of Turkish industrial conglomerate Alarko Holding’s, won the contract for the design and execution of 1st Lot of the Bucharest ring road Motorway, for RON 830.68 million, no VAT, National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) announced in a press release.

1st Lot will have a length of almost 17 kilometers (Sector 1, km 52 + 070 – km 52 + 770, North ring road and Sector 2nd, km 52 + 770 – km 69 + 000, South ring road).

On April 26, a consortium led by Romania’s Spedition UMB SRL – Tehnostrade SRL – Artera Proiect SRL is the winner of the contract for the design and execution of the 3rd lot of the Bucharest ring road with a total score of 96.28 points, out of which 58.03 points for the financial component and 38.25 points for the technical component.

The construction and design of 3rd Lot, with a length of approximately 18 km, amounts to RON 882.364 million, no VAT.

Once completed, the three segments of the 52-kilometer Bucharest South ring road will connect A1 and A2 highways.
