Turkey-based Yildiz Entegre, one of the leading global wood-based panel producers, will open a new wood processing plant in Romania this Thursday, in Arges County, on a land of approximately 46 hectares.
The investment, for which it worked for one year, amounts to EUR 150 million and will create 450 jobs.
In the first phase, the new factory will be a MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) production plant, a product used in the furniture industry, of higher quality than PAL, and, subsequently, the investment will be developed into the production of laminated doors and laminate flooring.
The products made here will be delivered both on the domestic and external market. Moreover, Yildiz Entegre representatives estimate that about 80 percent of the products will be exported.
