Uber reaches 10 billion trips milestone, with help from a rider in Bucharest

On Sunday, June 10th, 173 trips and deliveries started simultaneously at 3:12pm (Romania time), putting Uber over 10 billion completed trips.

These 173 trips happened in 93 cities across 21 countries across 5 continents, including one in Bucharest, Romania.

The trip was taken with a Dacia Logan car, through UberX. The 14 km journey started somewhere in Prelungirea Ghencea, ended in Berceni and had a tariff of 25.33 lei. The 10 billionth Uber trip happened 8 years and 10 days after the first trip.
