1M Euro Sound System at Beraria H: Romania’s Largest Audio Setup

The sound quality in Beraria H (a famous brewery in northern Bucharest) will now be at the highest level thanks to the new L-Acoustics audio system, the largest “permanently installed” indoor system, dedicated and customized for the Brewery, representing a first in Romania and leading the investment total in the sound system of the location to over 1 million euros.

“Everybody, wherever they are in the H Brewery, needs to have the same experience in terms of sound. That was very important. We must have power, we must have intelligibility. We wanted to make sure that every visitor would hear the best sound at their favorite concert,” said Alexandru Pană – Pro Audio Manager, Eltek Multimedia – L-Acoustics partner in Romania.

The audio system is built around Kara II tops with K28 subwoofers and SB18 flying subs amplified with LA4x and LA12x. The artists were not forgotten either; and the stage monitoring (the speakers in which the artists are heard during the concerts) has had a major upgrade, now L-Acoustics X12 monitors are used. The project was a large one: the entire building was rewired, new gates and support grids, fastening systems (in total the system weighs over 4 tons), racks, connections, networking were needed.

Certification and verification of final system calibration was done with the help of Wili Klein, Application Engineer – L’Acoustics.

The new sound system was also part of a presentation event attended by over 150 professionals from the sound engineering and entertainment industries, artists and guests from the media, which culminated in a live demo with the Bosquito band.
