Wizz Air has announced on Thursday a new route linking Cluj-Napoca (central Romania) to UK, precisely to Birmingham, which thus becomes the third city in Great Britain that will be directly connected to Cluj, after London Luton and Doncaster/Sheffield.
As of December 2018, the number of weekly flights from Cluj to UK will mount to 23. Overall, Wizz Air operated flights from Cluj-Napoca to 36 destinations in 18 countries.
The flight from Cluj-Napoca to Birmingham will be operational starting December 16, 2018 every Wednesday and Sunday (so, twice a week). Tariffs start from RON 99.
Birmingham is the second largest city in Great Britain, luring tourists with his combined patrimony heritage and modern architecture. West Midlands region boasts a famous botanical garden, as well as the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
