The first section of bike route that connects Romania to Hungary has been completed.
The road sections are part of the “Construction of a cycle path between Oradea and Berettyoujfalu”, funded by the Regional Office for Cross-border Cooperation Romania – Hungary, 2007-2013. The other two sections will be completed by the end of the year. This bike route will connect the green corridor of Crisu Repede to Petei, up to Nufarul district, to the ring road. Oradea City Hall will extend this cross-border route of 5740 m length.
The contract value is approximately EUR 316,000. SC Asfamixt SRL won the auction for the bike route, at the end of June.
