If the exploitations of natural gas in the Black Sea will begin, then Hungary could have access to a new energy source, said on Monday the Hungarian Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto, hotnews.ro reports.
Szijjarto added that in order to benefit from these resources, Hungary must build an interconnector to transport gas from Romania to Hungary.
The head of Hungarian diplomacy made this statement at a meeting of Hungarian ambassadors in Budapest. He said that energy security should not be the responsibility of the countries of Central Europe, but of the European Union as a whole.
