Yellow code for heat wave in seven counties in the west of the country, temperatures to reach 35-37 degrees C

Meteorologists have issued a yellow code warning for heat wave for the counties of Caras-Severin, Timis, Hunedoara, Alba, Arad, Bihor and Satu Mare, where on Friday temperatures will reach 35-37 degrees Celsius and thermal discomfort will be high.
According to the National Meteorological Administration (ANM) , the Banat, Crisana and south-western Transylvania ‘the weather will be hot Friday afternoon, when maximum temperatures will reach 35 and 37 degrees C, and the index for temperature-humidity (ITU) will exceed the critical threshold of 80 units’.
Saturday, hot weather will persist in isolated areas of the Carpathian regions.
In Banat and Crisana, as of Saturday September 19, the weather will cool down, so next week will be recorded maximum temperatures of 22-23 degrees C, close to the normal level for the last decade this month, and lows of 10-12 degrees C.
