MOL Romania appointed Zoltán László Magyar as new CFO as of March 1st, 2017, a press release informs, replacing Cristian Ungureanu, who has decided to pursue other career opportunities.

Since 2014, Magyar has held several positions (CFO, Managing Director) within MOL Kalegran Ltd., an upstream subsidiary of MOL Group in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Although Zoltán’s main background is industrial consulting, he has also acquired retail experience as a Controller in Provera (Louis Delhaize Group) and commercial experience as the Pricing Manager of GE Lighting for the EMEA region. Besides finance, Zoltán’s strong IT skills proved to be highly valuable on numerous occasions of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementation exercises.
MOL’s diesel fuel sales in Romania registered an increase of 13.5 percent in 2016, to 477 kt, while gasoline sales increased 10 percent to 166 kt, according to company’s financial report.
