Business Lease Romania increases its operational leasing portfolio by 27 pc in H1

Business Lease, the international Full Service Operational Leasing and Mobility Services provider on domestic market, reports a 27 percent increase in operational leasing contracts for the first half of the year, after developing its service portfolio, a great increase for the number of customers and approaching SME’s.

“We have focused our efforts towards growing our customers’ portfolio and towards approaching and explaining Business Lease Better CARE philosophy to SME’s, companies that are often neglected by service providers. We notice that the OL market is growing steadily during this time and we are optimistic about it because it shows a better understanding from the market in regards to our type of services”, Philip Aarsman, Managing Director of Business Lease Romania stated, a press release informs.

The company manages a fleet of about 3.000 cars; a third represented by operational leasing and the rest through car fleet management contracts for customers that are active in various business sectors: pharma, FMCG, energy, industry, IT or agriculture.

During H1, the number of customers has also increased by 27 percent; companies like Pegasus, Parmafood, Diageo Balkans, Alstom Infrastructure or Pizzaroti are reconfirming their choice or choosing Business Lease as their car fleet supplier.

Most of the operational leasing contracts are full service ones, including fuel management or GPS tracking. About 6 percent of Business Lease’s operational leasing fleet consists of LCV’s.

In its second year of business on the local market, after acquiring Fleet Management Services at the end of 2014, Business Lease has started investments projects to transfer more and more of the service in online.
