BNR meets Basel III requirements for data collection and transferring to the European Banking Authority, using the BearingPoint solution

The National bank of Romania (BNR) has implemented the standard reporting solution BearingPoint, ABACUS / Regulator, to comply with the new requirements of the European Banking Authority for data collection and remittance. Because of rapid deployment, the central bank could collect data from banks in Romania and sent them in due time to the European Banking Authority (EBA), Mediafax reports.

Reporting requirements CRD IV/CRR I for banks in Romania and data transmission to EBA enables the central bank to have a low cost of maintenance with regard to frequent changes associated with data collection at European level.
