The national currency has appreciated on Tuesday, according to the reference exchange rate released by the National Bank of Romania (BNR) to 4.7440 units for the European single currency, up by 1.06 bani against Monday.
However, RON has depreciated against the US Dollar to 4.1547 units, down by 0.15 bani as compared to the level in the previous session, of 4.1532 units.
The Swiss Franc is quoted at RON 4.1507, down from RON 4.1636 on Monday.
The gram of gold is more expensive by 0.27% against the previous day, up to RON 175.5320 from RON 175.0513.
