Poetry night sessions and documentaries in rooftop event in Bucharest

The garden of Rezidența BRD Scena9 in Bucharest will host two brand new cultural events dedicated to music, film and contemporary poetry. Movie lovers are invited for an One World Romania Week during July 24-30. The “21 Nocturnes. Contemporary poetry, Music and Wine” will take place on July 28, an event by A.R.C.E.N and BRD – Groupe Société Générale.

During July 24-30, the garden of Rezidenta BRD Scena9 is hosting a full week of documentaries, an journey invitation from Norway to Iran. The films are staring from 9 p.m. every night.

„A normal autistic film” is screened tonight, „Raving Iran”, one of the most praised films at the 10th edition of One World Romania, is scheduled for July 25, „FC Roma”, „Expired”, and „Refugees Blues” within „21 Nocturnes”, „5 October” and the week ends with „Free” on July 30.

„21 Nocturnes” event will run July through September, with 12 poets as guests-Svetlana Cârstean, Claudiu Komartin, Denisa Duran, Adrian Diniș, Alex Văsieș, Ana Dragu, Dina Frînculescu, Flavia Adam, Mitoș Micleușeanu, Radu Nițescu, Răzvan Țupa and Valentin Busuioc.

The nocturnes are hosted on the rooftop garden of the venue from 32 I.L Caragiale street on July 28, August 4, September 8 and 15, at 9 p.m. The participants will enjoy a completely new experience combining poetry sessions, music and dialogues, with jam sessions, dance, exhibitions, performances, but also with wine for good spirits and poetry books to take home.
