Cristina Neagu, best female handball player in 2016, according to Handball Planet

Romanian handball player Cristina Neagu has been voted the best female handball player in the world in 2016, according to a survey conducted by Handball Planet.

Neagu (ZRK Buducnost Podgorica) registered 64 points in the survey conducted in 19 countries. She was awarded the same prize in 2015.

On the following positions are two Norwegian players Heidi Loke (Gyor), 62 points and Nora Mork (Gyor), 61 points. Loke was awarded the best player in 2011, 2012 and 2014.

In the survey were also nominated Oana Manea (CSM Bucharest) and six players playing at the same team, European champions.
