Subsidiaries in Romania have received from parent banks over EUR 525m in first four months

The parent banks have capitalized subsidiaries in Romania by EUR 525.5 million in the first four months of this year, as compared to EUR 12.94 million in the same period last year, according to the National Trade Register Office (ONRC).

In the first four months of 2015, the largest infusion of capital was received by Volksbank Romania (EUR 482.14 million in March), followed by OTP Bank, EUR 39.09 million in January.

România International Bank increased its capital by EUR 3.15 million in February and Libra Internet Bank received EUR 1.12 million share capital in March.

Thus, the most important capital increases were made in the first four months of 2015 by Volksbank Romania and OTP Bank, in total EUR 521 million.
