Code Orange and Code Yellow for abundant rainfall in almost all the country

The National Meteorology Administration (ANM) has issued on Tuesday two warnings of Code Yellow and Code Orange for rainfall in the coming period.

The Code Yellow will be in force on Wednesday as of 3.00h until 23.00h in Oltenia, Muntenia, Dobrogea, Moldavia, southern and eastern Transylvania, with water quantities exceeding 20-30 litres per square metre and on isolated areas 40-50 litres per square metre.

The Code Orange will come into force as of 9.00h and expires at 23.00h in the counties of Prahova, Buzau, Vrancea, Covasna, in the hills and mountainous areas in the counties of Dambovita, Arges, Bacau and Brasov. Abundant rainfall will be registered, with water quantities of 40-50 litres per square metre and on small areas 60-70 litres per square metre.

ANM also informs that it will continue to rain in most regions until Saturday, mainly in the mountains and the extra-Carpathians areas.
