Carrefour has announced the appointment of Jean Richard de Latour as CEO of Carrefour Romania as of August 1 this year. Previously, de Latour was Operational Director Hipermarket Bassin Grand Nord in France, a region that get together 53 hypermarkets.
Jean Richard de Latour started his career at Carrefour in 2013 as Studies, Innovation and Public Affairs Manager and has been Director of Office of Carrefour President Director General for two years from 2014 to 2016. Prior to this, he worked at the Economy and Finance Ministry in France for five years.
He graduated the National Administration School and holds a master degree in Public Sciences at Sciences Po. He defines himself as a team man, who encourages collaboration.

De Latour will work with a team of six members of the executive board: Cătălin Samara, coordinator of the Marketing, Digitization, E-commerce and IT department, client service and omnichannel procedures; Luminița Iaco, Acquisitions and Supply Chain; Anca Damour, Corporate Affairs, Real Estate, Legal, CSR; Tareck Ouaibi, Operational; Jean-Paul Denis, Financial and Ana Krasovschi, Human Resources.
