Nigeria’s woman ambassador presents Letters of Credence to the Romanian President

Nigeria appointed a woman ambassador to Romania, Safiya Ahmad Nuhu, who presented her letter of credence in Bucharest at the end of June.

“The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Romania, with concurrent accreditation to Bulgaria and Slovenia, Her Excellency, Mrs. Safiya Ahmad Nuhu presented her Letters of Credence on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, to the President of Romania, His Excellency, Mr. Klaus Werner Iohannis at the Presidential Place, Bucharest, Romania.

Both countries have since enjoyed cordial diplomatic, political and economic relations as well as exchanged visits at the highest level. At the sideline, the two leaders called for closer collaboration in strategic areas of mutual interest to Romania and Nigeria,” reads a press release by the Embassy of Nigeria to Romania.
