The mayor of Chisinau, Dorin Chirtoaca (photo), has had a brief discussion with PM Dacian Ciolos on Monday, concerning the projects with which Romania could be of help to the R. of Moldova’s citizens.
The talks took place at Vila Lac 1 in Bucharest, the same place where PM Ciolos had talks with the political parties regarding the local elections and the change of legislation.
“We had a first round of informal talks on the way public authorities work and about the way Romania could help the citizens of Republic of Moldova through projects and cooperation programmes,” Dacian Ciolos said Monday evening, during a press conference.
“I had a discussion with him in order to capitalise his experience as mayor, on the way local authorities work and on the way in which, for certain projects, we could be of help to the local authorities,” the head of government added.
