The Romanian Presidency on Tuesday displayed a new website, also introducing a new section “Write to the President”.
President Klaus Iohannis, who announced the new website on his Facebook page, says he wants Presidency to be an institution open to the citizens.
“The new website of the Presidential Administration is online. With a modern design and a friendly interface, I want this website to be a step towards a more efficient communication with each of you. We initiated this platform starting from the following principles: more transparency, easy searching, integrated communication. I want the Presidential Administration to be functional and open to the citizens, with the new website having a dedicated page where you can send me your messages. I invite you to the new www.presidency.ro “, reads Iohannis’ post.
Besides the new “Write to the President” section, the website also comprises a box rejoining several official documents, such as Klaus Iohannis’ presidential agenda, the political agreement on rising the Defense budget, the swearing-in speech, but also other important speeches delivered by the President.
There is also a new “Commitments” section, where you can find out details on president Iohannis’ program on foreign affairs, defense, rule of law, Diaspora, health and education.
At the same time, those interested in the Presidency’s notes can subscribe to “Newsletter”, also a first on the presidential website.
