2018 World Rowing Championships: Gold and silver medals for Romania

The pair made up by Ionela Livia Cozmiuc and Gianina Elena beleaga has won the gold medals in the lightweight women’s double sculls on Saturday, at the World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Cozmiuc and Beleaga were reigning world champions. They won the gold medals in 6 minutes, 50 seconds and 710/1000, ahead of the teams of the United States and the Netherlands.

Earlier on Saturday, the pair made up by Marius-Vasile Cozmiuc and Ciprian Tudosă, has won the silver medals in the men’s pair.
