Artemis, the Swiss conglomerate known for its ownership of Franke, a leading kitchen sink manufacturer, has finalized a €10 million investment in a 10,000 square meter production facility within the Artemis Industrial Park in Timiș County. Artemis Holding is under the ownership of Swiss billionaire Michael Pieper, whose fortune Forbes estimates at €4 billion.

This marks the completion of Artemis’s latest industrial project in Romania, bringing the total investment in this sector to over €70 million. The fourth building in the Artemis Industrial Park, situated in Sânandrei, Timiș County, has been tailored to meet the technical requirements of its tenant, Mondo Style, a producer of PVC and aluminum systems for windows and doors.

Adriana Cioca, Managing Director of Artemis Group Romania, emphasized the significance of this project, stating, “Artemis IV building was constructed to meet the technical needs of tenant Mondo Style and stands as a flagship project in our portfolio. With this new investment exceeding €10 million, Artemis Group’s total investments in Romania have surpassed €70 million in the past decade. We remain committed to investing in Romania, generating new employment opportunities, and contributing significantly to the local economy.”

The Artemis Industrial Park, located in Sânandrei, Timiș County, is strategically positioned just 7 kilometers from Timișoara’s city center and intersects with a future express road, currently under construction, facilitating a direct connection between Romania and Western Europe. The park adheres to Swiss standards and meticulously complies with Romanian construction regulations.

Artemis Real Estate has maintained a presence in the Romanian market for 15 years, with investments spanning more than 170 hectares of strategically situated land in the western region of the country, with a focus on industrial developments. Artemis also holds co-ownership in the 40-hectare Banat Business Park project.
