Swisspor Group acquired the company BriothermXPS, Romanian manufacturer of thermal insulation materials. Concilium Consulting, a specialist consultancy company, coordinated by Vlad Năstase and Dan Weiler, assisted Swisspor Group in the M&A process.
Artem Bogdanov, Head of Corporate Development at Swisspor said: “We have come to know the Concilium team as highly credible advisers in the building materials sector, especially in Romania and South Eastern Europe. Their active support and deep local knowledge allowed us secure a deal swiftly despite a challenging market environment and complex transaction structure”.
Swisspor is one of the most important developers, manufacturers and suppliers of products and services for energy efficiency and aesthetic cladding of buildings, having 38 international production facilities.
Briotherm XPS is a Romanian company, specialized in the production of thermal insulation materials, exporting to the Central and East European market.
The transaction is in the approval stage by the Competition Council.
Legal, tax and financial due diligence in the acquisition process was provided by KPMG team.
