The Zaga Zaga tourist complex in the Siret Delta has planned investments of 20,000,000 Euros over the next three years, with the stated goal of becoming the largest tourist hub in Europe.
“The story of Zaga Zaga started with the fish farm, whose foundations were laid in 2010. In 2016 we opened the trout and sturgeon fish farm, and in 2018 we opened the Zaga Zaga complex, with bungalows and floating houses, cherhanaua (the fishery) and the adventure park. Then we raised the pool and in 2019 we built the yurts and the barn, as an event area. I gave nature a generous space and, at the same time, I gave nature back to people. This has been the investment so far in the complex “, said Francesca Radu, owner, Zaga Zaga.
The resort has benefited from investments of 15,000,000 Euros in the 137 accommodation units and facilities so far.
“From now on, it is time to take the natural step in the evolution of Zaga Zaga and expand – both in terms of surface and facilities. And the work of the next three years and the investments we estimate at 20,000,000 Euros will lead us to the ambition we do not shy away from saying: to build right here, in Romania, the largest tourist hub in Europe “, adds Francesca Radu.
The complex includes, as accommodation facilities, mobile bungalows, houseboats, yurts, and also includes a cherhana, a barn for private and corporate events, but also an adventure park, a swimming pool and two tennis courts.
All the four restaurants of the compound can serve over 2,000 people on a daily basis. The ZagaZaga resort is currently stretching on a total area of 82 hectares.
