Bucharest to host the 2nd edition of Dev.Play 2017

During September 11-12, Dev.Play 2017 – the only Eastern Europe conference dedicated to game development industry, returns to Bucharest, at Grand Cinema & More, Baneasa Shopping City, for a new edition.

Dev.Play 2017 by the Romanian Game Developers Association (RGDA) brings together international personalities in the field, such as Jeferson Valadares, Eric Seufert, Scott Humphries, Dave Pimm and Martine Spaans, for a series of talks, workshops and panels about the most important issues of the moment, a press release informs.

The first edition of Dev.Play took place in 2016 and attracted over 300 participants, 46 speakers from 9 European countries and the U.S.

Dev.Play 2017 by RGDA will have an exhibition area of over 500 sqm, competitions for independent developers, but also a wide range of denetworking opportunities for professionals and game development industry enthusiasts alike.

Game development industry in Romania generated revenues of over EUR 140 million in 2015. Besides the financial aspect, another important part of the industry is represented by the 7,000 jobs in over 50 studios existing on the local market, the release also reads.
